 Sometimes, during the forging process, the intermediate billet or forging is locally cooled to room temperature, which is called intermediate cooling. For example, in order to perform flaw detection or clean up defects on the blank, intermediate cooling is required. After the middle part is forged, it should be cooled in the middle, so as not to affect the quality when reheating the two ends. The determination of the intercooling specification is the same as the cooling specification after forging.
